Inspired by the striking bright orange buzz cut, this shoot draws from the vibrant, high-saturation world of Romeo + Juliet. The bold colour immediately echoed the film’s fearless palette, which became the foundation for the styling.

The orange was paired with leather textures, hawaiian shirts and camo print — a deliberate nod to the eclectic, character-driven wardrobe seen in Baz Luhrmann’s interpretation. The combination of sharp tailoring, tropical pattern, and saturated colour created a striking visual contrast that felt both contemporary and cinematic.

Post-production was intentionally colour-driven, enhancing saturation and contrast to heighten the intensity and drama of the palette.
